Path and Inspiration
At my first pottery lesson in 2014 at the Create Space project in London I met other artists working with ceramics in many forms, including the artist Nan Tran, who answered many of my endless questions.
In 2015 I joined the “East Dorset Potters” where I found inspiration and a welcoming community of other potters .
I have been experimenting with different ways to make pots and sculptures, and glaze recipes combining them for interesting textures and colours.
Process and Practice
I tend to let my work develop so I don't get stuck in a particular style .
Lately I have tried to keep my pottery fun and original by adding a bit of humour and street art to most of my pieces, but I still admire the traditional glazes and forms .
